and session descriptions, click here.
Please note: this is a tentative schedule, and while most sessions are confirmed, instructors and classes are subject to change (schedule updated March 3, 2026).
Add-ons
This year, we have two limited-admission classes available for an additional fee. When seats sell out, admission to these classes will close.
1. How to Sell 1000 Books a Month with Susan Neal, $50 add-on
Option 1 (Pre-Conference TUESDAY 6/09/26): only 15 spots left as of March 6
Option 2 (During-Conference, 2-part class): only 22 spots left as of March 6
2. Hands-on Book Proposal Workshop, Continuing Class with Bob Hostetler and Larry Leech $30 add-on and requires pre-work.
Please note: This class is currently FULL. If you’d like to be on the waitlist in case spots open up, please take the online course (link in next paragraph) and email admin@christianwritersinstitute.com with WAITLIST (in caps) in the subject line.
Attendees must complete Steve Laube’s course, Elements of an Effective Book Proposal, and begin working on the book proposal. The course is $29.99 (unless you already have it in your CWI account). This workshop is intended to provide personalized help with areas of a book proposal in progress. Get as far as you can on your own prior to the conference and arrive ready to work. If you aren’t ready, you may stay in the class to listen and work on your proposal, but those who’ve worked hard before the conference to build pieces of their book proposal on their own will get priority. To be clear: For this class, we expect you to have put in effort (as though working for Jesus, yes?) ahead of time. (And trust us, you’ll get so much more out of it this way.)

One-On-One meetings with faculty will be 15 minutes long. Check the conference schedule above for times they will be held, Wednesday-Friday. Editing, Prayer, and Advisory Meetings
We will have a limited number of slots for editing help, prayer, and non-teaching-faculty advisory meetings. Prayer and meetings with an editor will require sign-up on site. Some of the advisory meetings may require on-site sign up as well. They will NOT count against your two faculty meetings.
Scholarships
Each year, the Write the Publish Conference offers a limited number of scholarships to those who have a financial need and would not otherwise be able to attend the conference.
Click the “Scholarships” button in the top menu of the home page for more information.
If you’d like to donate to help a writer who might not otherwise be able to attend, we’d be very grateful (and so will the writer).
