
Arrival
The conference is held at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, a Chicago suburb. (Write to Publish is not a function of Wheaton College.)
Registration, check-in, general sessions, bookstore, and appointments with faculty members are in Coray Alumni Gym in the Todd Beamer Student Center, 421 Chase Street at University Place. Smoking, alcoholic beverages, and nonprescription drugs are not allowed on campus.
The campus is physically accessible. However, we are not able to provide deaf interpreters or other specialized personnel.
If you are staying in the on-campus rooms, they are in Fischer Hall, 600 E. Harrison Avenue, and Smith-Traber Hall, 607 Howard Street in Wheaton.
NEW UPDATE 4/10/23 – Arrive on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 and proceed to the Beamer Center for conference check-in and if you are staying on-campus, you can get your key at the room registration table adjacent to the conference check-in. Conference and room check-in will open at 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 13.
Conference check-in includes badge, schedules, meal bracelet, parking pass and other materials.
The dormitories will open at 2:00pm and the front desk for each dorm is staffed until 10:00 p.m.
Dinner will be open at 5:00pm.
Opening session will be at 6:30pm in the Coray room.
TRANSPORTATION
Airport
Allow at least 45 minutes traveling time from O’Hare and 60 minutes from Midway.
Wheaton College recommends American Taxi (847-673-1000). Identify yourself as a conference participant at Wheaton College. Rates ($49 from O’Hare, $59 from Midway) are one-way, do not include driver gratuity, and are subject to change. Check the website for more information.
If you are staying in Fischer Hall, ask the driver to drop you off at 600 E. Harrison Avenue, Wheaton, IL.
If you are staying in Smith-Traber Hall, ask the driver to drop you off at 607 Howard Street, Wheaton, IL.
Don’t take a taxi that is already sitting at the airport; the rate will be much higher.
Lyft and Uber are also available. Since pricing varies throughout the day, check the app to get an estimate.
Train
Amtrak trains let passengers off in Chicago at Union Station. To continue to Wheaton, transfer to the Metra Union Pacific West line at the Richard Ogilvie Transportation Center, located at Madison and Canal Streets, about one and a half blocks away. Taxi service is available.
If taking the Metra train to Wheaton, get off at the College Avenue station, which is about four blocks from the main campus.

Bus
Greyhound and Trailways bus depots are located about one block apart and approximately eight blocks from the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Bus service is not available to Wheaton from Chicago. Taxi service is available. See above for train service.
